…but didn’t!
Sorting and organizing my TBR pile is one of my 2024 bookish goals, and this week’s TTT prompt seemed like a good place to start. Here are just ten of the many 2023 books I meant to read. Most of them are sequels. Sometimes I wish I wasn’t such a serial reader… my TBR list would be so much shorter!
- Chef’s Choice by TJ Alexander (Adult Romance)
- Let Us Descend by Jesmyn Ward (Adult Historical Fiction)
- Light Bringer by Pierce Brown (Adult Sci Fi)
- Murder and Mamon by Mia P. Manansala (Adult Mystery/Thriller)
- Nic Blake & The Remarkables by Angie Thomas (Middle Grade Fantasy)
- Serwa Boateng’s Guide to Witchcraft & Mayhem by Roseanne A. Brown (Middle Grade Fantasy)
- School Trip by Jerry Craft (Middle Grade Graphic Novel)
- The Big Flush by Julie Buxbaum (Middle Grade Sci Fi/Humor)
- The Fragile Threads of Power by V.E. Schwab (Adult Fantasy)
- The Only One Left by Riley Sager (Adult Mystery/Thriller)
Another one of my goals this year is to explore more StoryGraph features. I just learned how to move books from my TBR list to my “Up Next” queue!
Do you recommend any of the books I missed last year? Please let me know in the comments below!
The Artsy Reader Girl currently hosts Top Ten Tuesday, an original feature created by The Broke and the Bookish. Every week TTT has a different topic, and everyone who links up has to create a link of ten items that fit that topic.
I don’t really have a TBR pile, I’m such a book magpie, if something catches my eye I’ll pick it up and read it. That’s pretty much the extent of my planning. 😀

I have not read those either, except Nic Blake and the Remarkables, which I really liked and would recommend.

So many great middle grade books, so little time!

I’ve been experimenting with The StoryGraph this year, too. I love all the stats it compiles, but I’m still liking Goodreads a lot more. We’ll see what I think by the end of the year when I’ve had more time to compare and contrast.
I hope you enjoy all these books when you get to them!
Happy TTT (on a Thursday)!

I’m a data nerd, so I love all the charts and graphs that come with StoryGraph! I also find it much easier to search and sort books. I do miss some of the social features on Goodreads, though. Thanks for dropping by and commenting!
